With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Ruth Arnold (Grinnell, Iowa), who passed away on March 19, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Simpson and Grace Simpson (Halterman); her siblings, Robert Simpson, Doris Simpson, Betty Plander and Marilyn Bonyata; and her nephews, James Plander and R. Timothy Simpson.
She is survived by: her spouse Sgt. Thomas Arnold; her nephews, Robert Plander (Renetta) of Toledo, Joseph Bonyata (Barbara) of Oram and Tony; and her sister-in-law Beverly Hamblen (James Hamblen) of Winston Salem. She is also survived by many great nephews and nieces; cousins.
