With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harry Lester Smith of Grinnell, Iowa, born in Malcom, Iowa, who passed away on November 28, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Lowell Smith and Elizabeth Winchell Smith; his wife Elizabeth Ann Osmond; and his children, Harry Smith Jr. and Kathy Foster.
He is survived by: his cousins, Judy and Jerry; his children, James Smith (Paula) of Montezuma, Shirley Tines (Paul) of Gladbrook, Thomas Smith (Kayla) of Victor, Becky Smothers (Mitch) of Malcom and John Smith (Pennie) of Crescent; and his son-in-law Rick Foster of Gladbrook. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many other loving family members.
