It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Philip Hagen of Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away on January 31, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Hagen and Mabel Applequist Hagen; and his siblings, Lorraine, Marguerite and Willard.

He is survived by: his daughters, Heidi Smith (Rod) of Grinnell and Carrie Hagen of Marshalltown; his grandsons, Anthony Smith and Alex Tippy (Russell); and his great grandchild Dean Tippy.

Memorial contributions may be designated to the Grinnell-Newburg High School Booster Club.
