He is survived by: his brother-in-law Reed; and his siblings, James Puls, Jr. (Marcia) of Grinnell, Dale Puls (Cathy) of Grinnell, Shirley Hoeppner (Reed) of Montezuma and Linda Baumgartner (Dan) of Readlyn, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
