It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Luther Ruchti Sr. (Grinnell, Iowa), born in Caribou, Maine, who passed away on May 10, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roger Ruchti and Gladys "Micky" Drost Ruchti; his wife Brenda Sue McCrea of Grinnell; his children, Frederick Ruchti, Jr. (Darcy) of Des Moines, Jammie Ruchti (Michelle) of Des Moines, Brian Ruchti of Des Moines and Barbie Ruchti (Danny) of Orient; and his siblings, Mike Ruchti (Cara) of Redfield, Andy Ruchti (Melisa) of Winterset, Alice (Dennis) of Eldora and Tom. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews; two brothers-in-law; and one sister-in-law.
