He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Collier and Lois May Chedester Hunter. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn of Grinnell; his children, Perry Hunter (Anne) of Edina and Kristin Visk (Mark) of Spartanburg; his stepchildren, Cathy Puls (Dale) of Grinnell, Mike Cogley of Portland and Melissa Goedken (Scott) of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Mark Hunter (Elizabeth) of Minneapolis, Lindsey Villa (Adam) of Lobo, Katie Cowart (Allen) of Charleston and Adam Visk (Maggie) of Spartanburg; and his stepgrandchildren, Cale Puls (Echo) of Marshalltown, Skye Puls of Downers Grove, Jack and Will Goedken of Iowa City. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be designated to Grinnell Regional Hospice, Trinity Lutheran Church, or Young Life, a Christian outreach for youth.
