She was predeceased by: her father Robert McGilvrey. She is survived by: her mother Ellen Ellis (Tom) of Grinnell; her daughters, Tanya Thompson (Rob Weuve), Tara Thompson (Donnie Doyle) of Grinnell, Tisha Conn of Iowa City and Ashley Thompson of East Dubuque, Illinois; and her siblings, Mike McGilvrey of Conroe, George McGilvrey of Waterloo, Deb McGilvrey of Grinnell and Laura VanCompernolle (Dave) of Grinnell. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
