He is survived by: his former wife Frances Starnes; his wife Fran Conn of Grinnell; his children, Denise Fleener (Don) of New Sharon, Iowa and Jason Conn (Tracey) of Redding, California; his grandchildren, Trent Fleener (Erynn Campbell), Morgan Fleener (Matthew Smith), Brandt Fleener, Jack Conn and Kyle Conn; and his sister Darlene VandeLune (Dave) of Pella.
