He was predeceased by: his father Edwin Alfred; and his wife Joyce Ann Helm. He is survived by: his mother Jane Steward Helm of Villisca; his son Jason Helm of State Center; his sister Debbie Anderson (Keith) of Villisca; and his grandchildren, Alexis, Alice, Cadence and James.
