We bid farewell to David Brock Lemke of Grinnell, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 15, 2025 at the age of 73. David Brock touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lemke and Shirley Lemke (Ogan); his wife Linda Lemke; and his siblings, La Wanda Lemke, Gloria Lemke, Darrell Lemke and Daniel Lemke.
He is survived by: his friend Debbe Yakle of Marshalltown; his children, Patricia Harland (Jason) of Oskaloosa, Angie Sims (Jim Jurgensen) of Sully and Lance Lemke of Oskaloosa; his grandchildren, Kearstin Shipman, Austin Lemke, Brett Woods, Zach Kitzman, Chase Anderson, Electra Anderson, Lance Teeter, Paige Trusty and Kodie Waggoner; and his siblings, Phillip Lemke (Cathy) of Newton, Lyle Lemke (Mary) of Cedar Rapids, Deb Arment (Marv) of Montezuma, Rose Long of Missouri and Melody Bennett of Ames.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bates Funeral Chapel (114 S 7th St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577).
