He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Churchill and Gwen Churchill (Hawkins); and his brother-in-law Thomas Birkenholtz. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Birkenholtz of Monroe and Dennis Churchill of Grinnell; his niece Sara Hawk (Frank) of St. Charles; and his nephews, Chad Birkenholtz (Anna) of Otley and Matt Birkenholtz (Jessica) of Monroe. He is also survived by eleven great nieces and nephews.
