It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Colleen Wiley of Grinnell, Iowa, born in Laurel, Iowa, who passed away on June 4, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Adkins and Elma Adkins (Polhamus); her husband Lyle Raymond Wiley; her siblings, Morris Adkins, Gweneth Schmidt and Beverly Wertz; and her son-in-law Al Ahrens.
She is survived by: her children, Candy Ahrens of Ankeny, IA, Bill Wiley of Overland Park, KS and Cindy Manly of Okoboji, IA; her grandchildren, Lisa Ahrens, Eric Ahrens, Kathleen Manly and John Manly; and her great grandchild Jessica Ahrens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Grinnell Veterans Memorial Building Fund or to PALS (Poweshiek Animal League Shelter) and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 368, Grinnell, IA 50112.
