He is survived by: his wife Pat Smith of Grinnell; his children, Michael Smith (Sandy) of Marengo, Kenneth Smith (Lesa) of Montezuma, Edward Smith (Brenda) of Urbandale, Cheryl Bowling (Allen) of Lentner, David Smith (Pam) of Marion and Chris Smith (Erin); his sister Linda Norman (Bud) of Deep River, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Smith of Grinnell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
