It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl W. Brown of Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carl may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Marion Brown and Doris V. Brown (Johnson); his nephew Timothy Brown; and his close friend Sheryl Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Roberta Nason of Marshalltown, IA, Barbara Heffel of Greeley, CO, Joann Dearinger of Des Moines, IA, Larry Brown (Judy) of Grinnell, Marion Brown (Betty) of Kirksville, MO and Ron Brown of Grinnell; and his close friend Ivy Morelock. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
