She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene H. Berry and Dorothy H. Berry (Foster); her brother Verl Shook; her sister-in-law Grace Shook; her nephews, Tom Brown and Randy Paul; her niece Celest Shook; and her mother-in-law Beatrice Martin.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Martin of Grinnell; her son Daniel Wells; her siblings, Vern Shook of Missouri Valley, Lorna Paisley (Jim) of Sturgis, SD, Joyce Brown (Ed) of Malcom, IA, Glen Berry of Brooklyn, IA and Pam Paul (Jeff) of Grinnell; and her sister-in-law Barb Shook of Montour, IA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (1103 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
