She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Milton" and Ruth Innis Burr; her husband Edwin Eugene Johnston; and her son-in-law Wayne Kidrowski. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Hanssen (Steve) of Grinnell, Cindy Kidrowski of Grinnell and Michael Johnston (Leesa) of Thor, Iowa; and her brother John Burr (Ardella) of Newton. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be designated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Blank Children's Hospital – NICU.
