He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Fredrick and Verna Coop Wells; his brothers, Harold Wells and Stan; and his sister-in-law Lorene Barker.
He is survived by: his wife Twyla Kathlyn Barker of Grinnell; his sons, Reg Wells (Mary) of Grinnell, Blaine Wells (Robyn Berardo) of Grinnell and Brent Wells (Teresa) of Malcom; and his grandchildren, Tammy Keigan, Tricia Kincaid, Justin, Devin, Sean Wells, Tia Heishman, Shamus Wells and Taylor Wells. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
