It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Sanders of Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away on June 23, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arlene Sanders to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Vail and Linna Vail (Shelby); her husband Lyle Sanders; her children, Larry Sanders, Anna Marie Sanders, Etta Louise Sanders and Raymond James Sanders; and her brother Harlan Vail (Donna).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Loren Sanders (Renee) of Montezuma and Stacy Helm (Doug) of Montezuma; her great grandchildren, Morgan Dickenson (Zachary), Dillon Sanders, Shane Helm, Shelby Helm (Jude Teumer) and Dmytro Kravchuk (Katherine Plotzke); her daughter-in-law Linda Dodds (John); and her sister Luella Berstler (Delmer) of Cedar Rapids.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners or St. Vincent de Paul Missions (a mission that Arlene supported).
