She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Rasmussen and Alice Rasmussen (Larsen); and her half-brothers, Kenneth Weare (Louise), Rolland (Laura) and Richard (Patricia).
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Dan Tran) and Megan (Lance Veldboom); her granddaughters, Elizabeth Brace (Nathan), Emmaleah Beam (Tanner), Naomi Veldboom and Rebekah Veldboom; and her great grandchildren, Isaac Nathan, Eliza Joy Brace and Jonathan Howard Beam.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 12:30 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (1625 Penrose St, Grinnell, IA 50112). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hazelwood Cemetery (120 1st Ave W, Grinnell, IA 50112).
