He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Tassin and Ella Tassin; his brother Larry Tassin; and his sister-in-law Janelle. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Biery; his daughters, Diane Kramer (Perry) and Susie Sommerfeldt (Paul); his stepson Mike DeBruyn (Pam); his stepgrandchildren, Zac DeBruyn (Anna), Abby Brown and Molly Illingworth; and his brother LeRoy Tassin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery Iowa Veterans Cemetery (34024 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adel, IA 50003).
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League in memory of his beloved dog, Buffy.
