He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Briggs and Connie Kay Briggs (Rennick); his grandparents, Clyde, Ethel Norma Briggs (Beck), John George and Elizabeth Amy Rennick (Elder); his aunts and uncles, Wayne, Betty Briggs (Swanson), Betty Jo Lau (Briggs), Melvin Rennick, Phillip and Josephine Rennick; and his in-laws, Edward and Shirley Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Woods; his children, Ashley Briggs of Grimes, Jennifer Briggs Eberle (David) of Indianola and Casey Briggs (Makayla); his grandchildren, Nuada and EmAnimus; his sister Barbara Briggs of Oregon; his nieces and nephews, Felisha and Carl Knori of Oregon; his uncle Robert Lau of California; and his aunt Nancy Rennick of Oregon.
