He is survived by: his parents, Terry Burns and Marjorie Burns of Clarinda, Iowa; his brother Matthew Burns (Nicole) of Omaha, Nebraska; his nieces, Jensyn and Kynslee Burns; his aunt Beth Rarick (Brian) of Clarinda, Iowa; and his uncle John Brummett (Julie) of Waukee, Iowa.
