He is survived by: his sons, Darrin (Chris) of Grimes and Christopher (Jessica) of Winterset; his granddaughters, Emily, Kylie, Bailey, Presley and Harper; his girlfriend Joyce Snyder; his great grandchild Stella Jo; his sister Louise Halls of Osceola, IA; his nephews, Ted Halls, Denny Halls and Monty Halls; his niece Patty Crain; and also, Chris Linnenkamp (Kurt) of Dallas Center and Kelly Snyder of Grimes.
