We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2022, Merlin G. Govig of Grimes, Iowa, born in Villisca, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Govig and Gladys Govig; and his siblings, Ed, Ron, Allen, Joyce and Myrna.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Evans of Lincoln Center; his sons, Allen (Susan) of Madrid and Wayne (Kari) of Waconia, Minnesota.; his grandchildren, Abbie (Matt), Evan (Sarah), Thomas (Sarah) and Logan; and his great grandchildren, A. J., Beau, Leo and Felicity.
