With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Benning in Grimes, Iowa, born in Parnell, Iowa, who passed away on November 8, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Benning; her son Tom Benning; her parents, Thomas Kennedy and Mary Agnes Kennedy; and her siblings, Timothy Kennedy, Joseph Kennedy, Rita Puth, Mary Heitmeyer, Anne Brems, Madeline Kelsh, Ellen Lynott and Frances Haberle.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Irvine, Richard Benning (Peggy), Raymond Benning (Valerie), Mike Benning, Mary Noland (Jim) and Jenny Clendenin (J. T.); her daughter-in-law Sheryl Benning (Tom); and her sister-in-law LaDonna Benning. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
As mandated by proclamation, social distancing must be practiced which means a limited number of people to be allowed into the visitation at one time.
