He was predeceased by: his parents, Concetto Saverio and Laura Pantaloni (Berdini). He is survived by: his children, Gary Pantaloni of Pine Hill, NJ and Joanne Elmer (Jim) of Johnston, IA; his granddaughter Jacey Thies (Chris); his sister Lillian Yearly; and his nephews, Christopher and Jonathan Yearly.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Iles Westover Chapel (6337 Hickman Rd, Des Moines, IA 50322). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the VFW Post 738. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (3663 66th St, Urbandale, IA 50322).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Food Pantry of Des Moines.
