Wayne Newell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Newell (Greenfield, Iowa), born in Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on May 26, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Donald and NoDell Vera Newell (Gard); his sister Donna Wedemeyer; his parents-in-law, Bernhardt Hollander (Slick) and Vergene Hollander (Bohnsack); and his siblings-in-law, Ron Hollander, Ron Powell, Bernie Hollander and Robin Furne.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Newell; his daughters, Nicole Burg (Jason) of Creston and Natalie Newell of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Payton and Colby Burg of Creston; his nieces, Terri Cushman of Loveland, Colorado, Sheri Wedemeyer of Colorado Springs and Vicki Wedemeyer of Colorado Springs; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Hollander of Bellevue, Nebraska, Lynn Powell (Len Mash) of Ankeny, Iowa, Tracey Bettin of Odebolt, Iowa and Craig Furne of Denison, Iowa.. He is also survived by his dogs, camping, following his children and then grandchildren.
