He was predeceased by: his parents, John J Schaecher Sr. and Helen Schaecher (Bell); his brother John Jr; his parents-in-law, Emil and Elva Buhlmann; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Combs and Peggy Ebert.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Buhlmann (Edie); his daughter Robin of Washington State; his granddaughter Danielle (Joel Klobnak) of Greenfield; his great grandchildren, Landon, Grace Klobnak, Kendrick Madsen, Lexi and Jenna Pruitt; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Schaecher of San Antonio and Alyce Combs. He is also survived by seven nieces & nephews and many cousins and friends.
