She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth L. Newton and Genevieve K. Newton (Lambi); her grandmother Eda; her husband Dick; her daughter Sandra; and her brother Gary Newton.
She is survived by: her son-in-law David; her close friend Hawkeye; her friends, Ray and Rae Leto; her daughter Lynne Don Carlos (David); her grandchildren, Matthew Mitchell (Paloma Guerrero), Marc Don Carlos (Shelby) and Michelle Diers (Nick); her great grandchildren, Cameron, Olivia Don Carlos, Lawson, Weston, Ava Diers and Stetson Mitchell; her son-in-law Greg Mitchell; and her sister-in-law Kathy Gross. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Greenfield United Methodist Church (108 SW 5th St, Greenfield, IA 50849). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
Her kindness and generosity continue through her organ and tissue donation.
