He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Ellis and Reba Irene Burnett (Montgomery); his sister Marilyn Pillareo; his daughter Becky Robbins; his grandson Charlie; and his great grandchild Nico.

He is survived by: his son Ron Burnett (Connie) of Melrose, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Mark, Cherone, Travis, Tiffany and Tracie. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
