She was predeceased by: her spouse Jose J. Avila; and her siblings, Andrea, Ricardo, Manuel and Jesus.
She is survived by: her children, Maria J., Jose M., Felix and Juanita; her grandchildren, Oscar (Melina) and Veronica; her great grandchildren, Oscar Jr. and Leilani; and her sibling Guadalupe. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
