He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma Hartley (Eddy) and Albert Hartley; his wife Dianne Hartley; and his siblings, Frances Keenan, Bernice Hartley and Larry Hartley.
He is survived by: his children, Lori McKim (Larry) of Greenfield, Kelly Hartley (Jennifer) of Greenfield and Terri Grant (Adrian) of Stanton; his grandchildren, Hunter Bishop of Shelby, Shelly Kelly of Ankeny and Lauren Juhl of Stanton, Iowa.; and his great grandchildren, Jaden Kelly, Jordan Kelly, Mia Kelly, Dawson Kelly and Traevon Kelly.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lamb Funeral Home (101 SE 4th St, Greenfield, IA 50849). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM.
Memorials: May be made to the Lloyd Hartley Memorial Fund to be established at a later date.
