She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Derry and Florence Lorain Derry (Safely); her grandson Rex Thompson; her husbands, Leo Marckmann and Bruce Nottingham; and her siblings, Bill Derry, Beverly Sand and Ruth Middleton.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Marckmann, Linda Thompson (Gary) of Stuart, Wanda Johnson (Dennis) of Fontanelle and Joan Burnett (Craig) of Leawood, Kansas; her sister Barb Krambeer of Lake View, Iowa; and her close friend Jim Murphy. She is also survived by six grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
