He is survived by: his girlfriend Rosemary Ellis of Greenfield; his sons, Duane Kirkland (Ingrid) of Loveland and Scott Kirkland (Connie) of Green Valley, Arizona; and his siblings, George Kirkland (Betty) of Branson, Dennis Kirkland (Janice) of Creston, Nancy Smith (Jim) of Macksburg and Linda Evans of Creston. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
