He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jane Brown. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Ehm of Greenfield, Paul Ehm of Greenfield, Rose Rigs of Norwalk, Mary Easton of Mt. Ayr, John Ehm of Oceanside, Helen Ehm of Oskaloosa and Karen Hanten; and his sister Mary Stratton of Cedar Falls. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
