We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2024, at the age of 93, Dorothy Twombly of Greenfield, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Walter Edward Cutting; her grandfather Ben Grant; her husband Kenneth Twombly; her children, Diane Held, Gary Twombly and Daniel "Boomer" Twombly; and her mother Maria Wietzke.
She is survived by: her westie Ben E.; her grandchildren, Traci, Josiah, Zachariah and Sara; her stepfather Ewald Wietzke; and her sister-in-law Betty Jane Bricker.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lamb Funeral Home (101 SE 4th St, Greenfield, IA 50849). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Greenfield United Methodist Church (108 SW 5th St, Greenfield, IA 50849). A burial was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at the Greenfield Cemetery (2493 IA-25, Greenfield, IA 50849).
