She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Smith (Red) and Aletha B Smith; her spouse Con McDowell; her daughter Conda; and her sister Juanita McWilliams.
She is survived by: her children, Craig McDowell (Dee) of Osceola, Coyle McDowell of Osceola and Christi Patterson (Bill) of Ames, Iowa.; and her grandchildren, Ashley Jeralds (Cory), Marcus Mc Dowell, Melissa Remy, Shelby Patterson (Kasey), Contasha, Tucker Patterson, Tonya Richman (James), Cassie Holmes (Travis), Tosha Shelley and Matthew Morse.
