He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnson and Erma Johnson (Kollman). He is survived by: his wife Debra Johnson of Greene; his stepchildren, Amie Dixon (Ron) of Nebraska and Dan Williams (Kay) of Arizona; and his friends, Darwin Kluiter (Eileen) of Clarksville and Jason Kluiter of Clarksville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greene - Woodley Funeral Home (519 N 1st St, Greene, IA 50636). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church - Vilmar (16073 Keystone Ave, Greene, IA 50636).
