He is survived by: his daughter Betty Heide of Waterloo, IA; his daughter-in-law Jeanette Kohls of Cedar Falls, IA; his stepchildren, JoAnn Mest (Norman) of Bettendorf, IA, Delores Hillyer (Darrell) of Davenport, IA, David Hauser (Carlene) of Allison, IA, Jim Hauser (Penny) of La Porte, MN, Jean O'Brien of Greene, IA, Carol Cole (Bob) of Greene, IA and Christal Thiel (Joe) of Bettendorf, IA; and his sister Florence Beck of Merdian, MS. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
