She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Jacobson and Agnes Jacobson (Schumacher); her former husband Irvin Marx, Sr.; her sons, Joseph, Irvin, Jr. and David; and her siblings, Pat Willenbring, Avy Widner and David Jacobson.
She is survived by: her husband Loras; her children, Kathleen Marx (Butch Marx) of Dallas, TX, Susan Thole (Ronald) of Dyersville, IA, Judy Fry (Lonnie) of Greeley, IA, Jane Moriarity (Gary Chapman) of Manchester, IA, Jennifer Thoe (Kent) of Ventura, IA, Kevin Demmer (Doris) of Dyersville, IA and Dan Demmer of Fairfax, IA; her grandchildren, Michelle Sly (Tony), Randy Thole (Lisa), Jason Thole (Danielle), Cheryl Habaue (Mario), Jessica Bolsinger (Scott), Tami Hansel (Eric), Cassie Rinke (Jeremy), Waylon Fry (Robyn), Jamie Gronewold (John), Ryan Moriarity (Katie), Barry Moriarity (Julia), Amanda Stadtlander (Drake), Zachary Thoe, Braden Thoe, Brian Demmer (Lisa), Heidi Smith (Chris), Nicole Plummer (Ryan), Tara Nielsen (Tyler) and Abby Ruether (Michael); and her siblings, Dee Hansen, Alta Buehl (George), Gary Jacobson (Diane), Alan Jacobson and Diane Koebler. She is also survived by 38 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
