He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton "Tony" and Marcella Putz (Kruse); his siblings, Pearl Gaul (Alvin), Alice Putz, Walter Putz, Fred "Fritz" Putz, Harold Putz and Jerry Putz; and his granddaughter Rebecca Putz.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Putz of Greeley; his children, Dennis Putz (Marge) of Manchester, Darryl Putz (Shea) of Manchester, Duane Putz (Amy) of Omaha, Deb Werning (Mark) of Bettendorf and Don Putz (Bellana) of Otley; his grandchildren, Dereck Putz (Cassie), Mikha Mormann (Glen), Morgan Neuhaus (Ryan), Devin Putz (Samantha), Danielle Jenkins (Michael), Jordan Pounders (Stevan), Dallyn Putz, Jade Putz, Jennifer Harrison (Jake), Andrew Putz (Makayla), Schafer Putz, Garret Putz, Peter Werning, Kenzie Werning, Kyle Werning, Dax Putz and Colby Putz; his sister Verna Mae Lueck (Donald) of Dyersville; and his sisters-in-law, Agnes Putz of Dyersville, Grace Putz of Manchester and Judy Putz of East Dubuque, Illinois. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Regional Medical Center Home Care or St. Mark Catholic Church.
