Edward M. Johnson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward M. Johnson of Gravity, Iowa, who passed away on March 6, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Johnson and Mary Melvin Johnson; his siblings, Ivan Johnson (Dorothy), Clara Tribolet (Don), Irene Neibling (Charles), Russ Johnson and Brice Johnson (Carolyn); and his son-in-law Mark Davison.

He is survived by: his wife Mildred; his children, Roy Johnson (Trish), Sandy Davison, Cathy Routh (Kevin), Patty Morris (Vilas), Roger Johnson (Kathy) and James Johnson (Elaina); his great grandchildren, Jessica Johnson, Ryan Johnson (Abby), Jennifer Johnson and Alicia Bishop (Eric); his son David; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Johnson, Clifford Pershin (Bonnie) and Gary Pershin (Loretta); his cousins, Leo Dillon (Loretta), Norma Wuester and Evelyn Watts; and also, Corbin, Briar, Brooks, Luke Davison (Jacie), RhyLee, Vida, Krista Morris (Matt), Logan, Cody Morris, Garrett Morris, Schyler Johnson, Noah Johnson, Eli Johnson, Gabe Johnson, Zachary Johnson and Alex Johnson (Maddie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed towards the New Market Church of Christ for missions.
