He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilken Paulsen and Florence Paulsen (Roethler); and his siblings, James Edward and Rose Ann. He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald Paulsen (Cheryl) of Granville, Mary Jean Nilles (Jim) of Escondido, CA, Steve Paulsen (Marilyn) of Granville, Linda Linden (Tom) of Granville and Janice Brooks (John) of Alton, IA.
He continued farming with his family until he was no longer able, due to Parkinson's Disease.
