He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Richter and Lavina Richter (Ewoldt); his wife Norma Jean; and his brothers, Virgil and Merlyn Richter.
He is survived by: his children, Lanny and Christine; his grandchildren, Ben Zeutenhorst of Granville, IA, Samantha Zeutenhorst of Sioux City, IA, Sydney Zeutenhorst of Granville, IA, Justin Hunt (Heidi) of Granville, IA, Katie Zavadil (Matt) of Volin, SD, Lucas Hunt (Rebekah) of Primghar, IA and Mitchell Hunt of Granville, IA; and his sister Marlys Richter of Hospers, IA. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews, relatives, and friends.
