He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ney and Mary Ney (Klein); and also, Albert Keuster and Mary Krantz-Keuster. He is survived by: his wife Doralice Keuster; his children, Marlene Pottebaum (Arlin) of Hospers, Carol Jean Vortherms (Tom) of Sioux City and Steve Ney (Julie) of Primghar; and his grandson Jeremey Vortherms. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren, along with 2 sisters.
Visitation with family present will be 1 hour before the service at the church on Friday, masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
