She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ney and Mary Ney (Klein); her husband Milo Koob; her sons-in-law, Kenny Konz, Ron Meis and David "Pete" Mathern; her grandson Craig Koob; her great grandchild Jacob Koob; her siblings, Peter (Marie), Theodore (Kathryn), Lawrence (Helen), Anthony (Evelyn), Joseph (Millie), Jack, Robert, Emma Graff (Clarence), Marie Meinen (Louie), Rosalia Koob (Ed) and Elizabeth; and her brother-in-law Ade Penning.
She is survived by: her children, Sam (Mary Lee), Rosemary Meis of Council Bluffs, Marge Mathern of Sioux City, Shirley (Emmet Steffes), Denny (Kay), Patty (Tom Kiernan), Dale (Deb) and Kristy (Roger Kunkel); her sister Kitty Penning; and her sister-in-law Doralice Ney. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
