She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jackley and Leona Jackley (Ellis); her husband Robert Degen; her stepparents, Lawrence and Martha Spieler; her brothers, Duane, Ellis, Mervin and George; and her siblings-in-law, Leonard, Donald, Reverand Jerome Degen, William Alexander, Lester Fuchsen, Vince Lombardo, Peg Alexander, Marion Fuchsen and Esther Lombardo.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Henery (Guy) of Omaha, Neb, Joan Lindenstein (Kevin) of Gibbon, Neb, Larry Degen (Mary) of Eden Prairie, Gregg Degen (Debra) of El Cajon, Susan Plaza (Anthony) of Omaha, Neb, Jane Orlando (Anthony) of Ferguson, Paul Degen (Veronica) of Urbandale and Dale Degen (Melissa) of Longmont, Colorado; and her sisters-in-law, Verna Jean Jackley of Omaha, Neb, Florence Goff of Sioux City, Anita Degen of Algona and Ann Degen of Bancroft, Iowa.. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the family for an intention to be decided at a later date.
