He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tilley and Marie Tilley (Tolliver); and his siblings, Phyllis Roberts (Howard), Shirley Quillen, Marlin Tilley and Ron Tilley.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Tilley (Suzy) of Ames, IA, Brandice Summers (Christopher) of Eldridge, IA and Louis Leaf of Boone, IA.; his grandchildren, Jesslyn Tilley and Loki Summers; and his siblings, Lynn Tilley of Ohio, Sharon Engnell (Don) of Boone and Sandy Garberding (Roger) of Colorado.
He graduated high school in 1975 where he would go on and sell insurance with his dad and brother until the early 90's when the Parkinson's disease would make it unable for him to work.
