He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Cavanah and Ella Mae Cavanah; and his sister Karen Hollen (Cavanah). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Sue Roth; his children, Cathy Pearson (Thad) and Clint (Lisa); his grandchildren, Alyssa Pearson, Jacob Pearson, Julia Cavanah and Colton Cavanah; and his sister Harriet Dart (Roger). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (4114 Allison Ave, Des Moines, IA 50310). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to: Stoddard Cancer Center, Blank Children's Hospital or a charity of your choice.
