She was predeceased by: her brother Brian Nelson; her brother-in-law Tim Reever; and her grandparents, Ruth Morrissey, Sam and Ruby Bristle.

She is survived by: her parents, Larry Nelson and Janice Nelson (Bristle) of Woodward; her husband Allen of Granger; her sons, Matthew Peterson and Samuel Peterson; her sister Lora Reever of Glidden; her nephews, William Reever (Leah) and Wesley Reever (Amanda); and her niece Whitney Reever.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family and will later be donated to the charity of their choosing.
